If you’re a regular reader of this blog or my social media you will definitely have heard me talk about this anthology before. kINKED is the second of the Pen and Kink anthologies, and one of the primary reasons that Pen and Kink Publishing even exists.
When I first started working as an Assistant Editor at Red Moon Romance I really, really wanted to do a fetish anthology, but since the imprint was just finding its feet the decision was made for me to edit something open to vanilla relationships first. That was Rough Edges. I love Rough Edges, don’t get me wrong, but once it was done and I got the green light to do kINKED I was freaking stoked.
And then stuff happened, World Weaver Press got new ownership and the Red Moon Romance imprint was folded back into the mother publishing company. And that change was a positive one, but since kINKED wasn’t really meant to have a speculative requirement it did mean that it would be more at home at P&K than WWP. And that is the abbreviated story of how kINKED came to be a Pen and Kink title. And one of the reasons that it’s special to me.
Another reason is because of the stories it contains. We’ve got plenty of BDSM in its various incarnations, and even a little voyeurism in case that’s your thing.
Every tattoo tells a story…
A submissive pain slut receives a tattoo as a reward for years of selfless service. A man’s body is used to deliver a very different kind of message to a domineering masochist.
